Alina Shaffer has over 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience working for Fortune 500 and private equity companies.  Her experience spans several areas of HR management including: talent acquisition, talent management, diversity and inclusion, change management, strategic workforce planning, employer branding, employee engagement, organizational development and effectiveness and leadership development.

Prior to joining livingHR, Alina served as VP, Global Talent Acquisition at Catalina in St. Petersburg, FL where she was responsible for designing and implementing recruitment strategies and processes that enabled Catalina to attract top talent.  Previous to her experience at Catalina, Alina held progressively responsible positions in talent acquisition and HR management with Harris Corporation.

Alina holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in human resources management from Webster University. She has also completed the HR Executive Education Leadership program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

Within the community, Alina has been involved with SHRM and the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
